1 dead after house fire in Pasadena, officials investigating

The Pasadena Fire Department responded around 2 a.m. to a fully involved house fire in the 2800 block of Camile Street.

One person has died after a house fire in Pasadena on Thursday, according to officials.

The Pasadena Fire Department responded around 2 a.m. to a fully involved house fire in the 2800 block of Camile Street.

When firefighters arrived, the home was engulfed in flames. After extinguishing the fire, crews remained at the scene as investigators began working to determine what caused the blaze.

Officials have since confirmed the fire was fatal, but they have not released the identity of the person who died.

Neighbors told KPRC 2 they were concerned because an elderly man with Alzheimer’s disease lived at the home.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
