HARRIS COUNTY, Tx – The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office says a drug deal lead to a man being shot outside a Burger King restaurant in Spring on Sunday.
The shooting happened on E. Cypresswood Drive near the North Freeway.

The injured man was transported to a local hospital.
An adult male sustained a gunshot wound and has been transported to a local hospital for treatment.

On Monday, the constable’s office said further investigation revealed that the victim had arranged to meet with a male suspect to purchase narcotics. During the encounter, the two became involved in a struggle over a firearm, resulting in the victim being shot.
The constable’s office said Tarvis Howard was booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
